Our Story
A House Devoted to Memory, Craft, and Preservation
Founded in 2015, Rang Riwaaz was born from a simple belief — that heirlooms carry more than artistry. They carry memory, lineage, and the quiet stories of the families who hold them. Our work exists to honour these stories, to preserve what time has softened, and to ensure that every treasured textile continues its journey with dignity.
Our Purpose
We are an atelier dedicated to the restoration, conservation, and revival of heirloom textiles. From fragile Banarasi weaves to cherished trousseau sarees, our purpose is to protect the craftsmanship of the past while supporting the artisans and communities who keep these traditions alive.
Our Values
Integrity — We preserve the authenticity and history of every piece entrusted to us.
Service — We restore with intention, care, and deep respect for family legacy.
Excellence — Our work is guided by precision, patience, and couture‑level discipline.
Our Craft Philosophy
Restoration, to us, is stewardship. We study each heirloom, understand its lineage, and restore it using techniques that honour its origin and preserve its soul.
A Note from the Founder
“I come from Awadh — a land shaped by Nawabi couture and the quiet refinement of Lucknowi tehzeeb, where garments held emotion, ceremony, and legacy. Rang Riwaaz is my way of carrying that inheritance forward, preserving the stories woven into every heirloom.” — Jyoti Singh, Founder
